New shoot

I was struggling for a blip today as I've been in the house doing admin stuff and then back in the garden for the usual mowing, weeding etc so I've decided to backblip from Wednesday and my visit to Waresley Wood. Deep among the trees lies this gently decaying tree trunk and yet somehow this pair of leaves are growing. I must admit I didn't investigate whether it's a seedling that's sprouted up from underneath (it must be surely) but whatever it is I love the textures and colours. The focus is off too, but I choose to call it 'soft focus'. So there...
