June rain

Pink peonies, highly scented on a warm day, make a fine resting place for today’s rain.
These are in my neighbour’s garden; we have a shared path along the back of our terrace so I’m not trampling on her space. I quite enjoyed the gloomy day so I could catch up with inside stuff and recover from last week’s gardening marathons. My avoidance of anything Jube-related has been almost complete, except for the clips of a certain scruff being roundly booed by his presumably now ex-fans. Very encouraging.
