The Eyes Not The Thighs Have It

What an amazing spectacle the Platinum Party at the Palace was. Thank you Ma'am.

A bit sad that I haven't managed a Platinum Jubilee themed image. I tried for red, white and blue bugs. I was very excited when I found an emperor dragonfly with its beautiful blue abdomen. Unfortunately the poor thing was dead. My pic is a male swollen-thighed beetle on an ox-eye daisy.
