Scales of Color

First...a Sincere Thank You for all of your kind words yesterday! Those nine years just kind of snuck up on me! Oh well. 
Black and Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterflies are busy ovipositing (laying their eggs ) on the fennel plants in our yard. Monarch butterflies are here in force as well, but that's a story for another blip.

***Tara update: she's doing fine. All bodily functions appear to be working well. She's walking, slowly and with a bit of help from a towel 'sling', but walking none the less!
