A little late afternoon chilling........

Another glorious morning, beautiful clear Blue sky, and Sunshine to warm the soul......

I had a plan at the start of the day, there were two photo's i wanted to take.
I wanted to capture an image of a boat that had been beached on a shingle beach, not a dinghy, perhaps a small trawler or some sort of colourful fishing boat, and the second was an image of waves breaking on a beach or breakwater, so i could try my hand at a long exposure to achieve that foamy look.........

So after a day of running around like a headless chicken, i didn't achieve either of my goals.............Plenty of very nice boats in marina's, or grubby dinghies on mud flats, but no fishing boats on shingle beaches.......
As for the foamy looking waves, don't go there...........

The sunshine was finally snuffed out at about 4pm, overtaken by that horizon to horizon White cloud..............

I caught this Black-Headed Gull just catching the last rays of sunshine, sat on some cobble stones at the side of the road by Haslar Marina. He seemed pretty chilled out, totally unphased by the cars passing by only a couple of feet away from him.
