Wet, cold and sunny

This morning and early afternoon were quite miserable, with rain so heavy at times it was a complete whiteout.  However, gradually the rain eased and then stopped and the sun came out and we were able to go out for a walk. Down in St Heliers we noticed (for the first time) a rather nice building facade, which is shown in the extra. Then we spotted a shop window that was paying tribute to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and I just had to take a photograph, even though there are lots of reflections.  The display is shown in the main blip.

There are no Covid stats today because it is a Public Holiday (same as a Bank Holiday in the UK) to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday - always on the first Monday in June.
