blipper's outing

I had a very pleasant afternoon out with Freespiral and BATon a preliminary excursion in preparation for the blipmeet on the 19th May.
We had a good wander about on the hillside/clifftops near the famine village. It is so peaceful there, a good place for whale watching and birdwatching, and generally enjoying the quiet.
This was taken from there, looking east to Toe Head. I love the white lichens that grow on all the old stones here, there are many old stone walls enclosing tiny fields right on the clifftop.
