The big book sale

Raising funds to keep the Cromarty Hall going.  It's a very useful venue and the centre of the village but costs an enormous amount to run.

Today, to coincide with the jubilee, the hall café was open so a grand chance to sell some of the huge stock of books too.  We made over £300 on the books, selling them at five for £2! The grand total from the café and raffle as well, was nearly £800, which was great. And we won a bottle of Prosecco!

The photos don't do it justice, but Bodkin posted a much more representative blip!
