Cat up a Tree

Poor Izzy was apparently scare up a tree in our neighbor's yard this morning...probably by the resident raccoon or coyote. She can't get down. We've called the humane rescue team and arborists....no return calls yet. Hopefully she won't spend the night up there. The very pleasant person at the fire & rescue told me that kitties will typically come down a tree in three or four days....

Meanwhile, work, a visit to my dear mother, many appeals to Izzy, and a little bit of work in the garden. 

This is 'Rozanne', a lovely perennial geranium that we haven't seen since last year...one of my all-time faves. And, just in case you didn't believe my statement about the last Itoh peony post yesterday, one more (really the last) in the extra.
