Indomitable

No matter how dusty and neglected the patch of earth, these poppies (outside some city centre flats) are going strong.  I haven't had time, this month, to go looking for field poppies, or to get out to favourite wildflower spots (apart from that former bee orchid site, the other day). So these, spotted during a quick visit to the chemist's in town, were a welcome sight.
