Squabbling Starlings.

I think these are the reason our bird feeders were empty when we returned home.
I filled them up yesterday and already the fat balls have all been eaten, and the sunflower hearts are almost empty.
I have seen a few blue tits and goldfinches. Sparrows and dunnocks, but they don’t have much chance when these starlings arrive.
The wood pigeons and blackbirds enjoy eating up all the scraps which fall on the floor.

It has been another warm day with sunshine.
Actually feels like summer has arrived!
Let’s hope so.
