Crinodendron

The shrub which is in our front garden is related to the rhodoendron and is at its best right now. I have tried a few times to grow the seeds and taken cuttings but I've had no success - I am going to have another go at cuttings though.
I'd like to grow one for my daughter, one for my son and one for my  granddaughter, Caroline. Ours was in a pot for years before planting out. It almost died a few years ago in a red hot, dry summer and I had to cut a good bit of it off to save it - so it's not the rounded and full shape it used to be but it improves each year now and I love it.
I've not been anywhere or done much today. Lazy day. Consequently though, I have less pain in my joints!
