Post-MRI breakfast.  I had a 7 a.m. appointment, great to get it over early  but boy was I ready for coffee and breakfast.  And just generally glad to be outta there.  I had thought that pancakes were going to be it, but I ordered the California omelette and hash browns instead.  Haven't been to this cafe/diner on Broadway for a while, nice to sit outside.

Our server chitchatted as we were still making up our minds on what to have:

She: I was so hoping today would be cooler
Us: I know, it's muggy and weird
She: Yeah, muggy, that's the word.  Earthquake weather...
All of us in unison: No!  No, earthquakes!  :-))
