Mostly Six Five Oh

By nhc

The cactus I bought the other weekend seems to be happy in its new spot.  There are new clusters of blooms every day.

We've had a female Hooded Oriole visiting the hummingbird feeders.  Apparently they will come to h-bird feeders, especially those with the little perches (like we have), during their summer migration.  I had to do a bit of research because I was surprised and this was the first time I'd seen an Oriole at the feeder, she's been back every day.  The hummingbirds have not been impressed with this interloper.
