Staying Local

It may be because we do not have a car, or it may be we have had visitors coming and going, nevertheless it is seldom we have spent so much time in our own village without travelling around very much.

Today was no exception. A visit to the mini market, followed by a visit to the hardware store for something for the garden. Then a coffee at the bar next to the lake, followed by an ice cream still next to the lake. By this time it was almost midday so we returned to the apartment for lunch.

In the afternoon the sky clouded over for a short time, though the temperature remained constant at about 31 degs.
