Acting casual

Peggy Sue hasn't appeared here for some time so I thought that she would make a great EB it was time that she did.  She does like to lie, apparently casually, in the hallway, hoping that passing humans might offer her something to eat.  Unfortunately her diabetes means that she is always hungry, yet losing weight.  She is now on a special diet but we didn't feel that she would tolerate twice daily injections, apparently the only option in the UK as our strict rules means that we don't have access to patches or oral medication.  I have had a long discussion with her vet and had it explained to me that it is more dangerous to start insulin injections then suddenly stop them, than it is not to give them at all. Fingers are crossed that the special diet helps.
