Bee orchid

This morning I went for a walk on Llanymynech Rocks.  I'd hoped to see butterflies but there were few about.  I did see Common Blue, Green-Veined White, Speckled Wood and Small Heath but in small numbers.

The flowers were looking beautiful but my blip had to be the Bee Orchid.  It's shaped like a female bee to encourage males which would pollinate the flower, it's self pollinating though so doesn't need the bee.  They're such beautiful flowers!
