Nuthatch ( Sitta europaea )

Thirty days wild, day 13.  A lazy shot taken from the kitchen window.  It seems that I am now going down with Clickychick's Covid.

The shot is a Nuthatch doing what Nuthatches do best, feeding head down.  We rarely get Nutchatches at the feeders, despite the fact they nest about 100 yards away (as the Nuthatch flies).   Recently this female has become a more regular visitor.
