Here's Looking At You

Today we docked at Corner Brook, Newfoundland, and went on an excursion to an insectarium and butterfly house which was very interesting.  We could walk inside the butterfly house amid hundreds of gorgeous flying jewels fluttering all around, and landing on our hands and heads.

This is an Owl Butterfly from Costa Rica.  When it spreads its wings out, the spots look a lot like the eyes of an owl, which provides the butterfly with a level of protection from predators.

Extras:  Some very industrious Leaf Cutter Ants, and the beautiful, serene view early this morning as we entered the harbor here in Newfoundland.  If you look closely, you will see snow in them thar hills!
