Sisyrinchium stratium

Commonly known as Aunt May, they are one of my favourite plants and are looking fantastic at the moment. Luckily they thrive in dry soil and also self seed very successfully, there can never be too many in my opinion.

I have searched two hedges for nests prior to trimming them today.

After work I moved all the plants I have been propogating to the shady side of the cottage prior to going on holiday at the end of the week, I definitely need to be getting rid of some!
