Siblings

So lovely to have my brother and sister here (and sister- in- law, who took this blip!). We were laughing because its impossible to get all three of us looking sensible at once - plus ça change!

A slow start but then L and I cruised a bit around Kirkwall and then met up with H and M at Happy Valley. I had returned there with Dad maybe three years ago but the others remembered it from our childhood when we visited the chap that created this little place of enchantment with our Orcadian friends.

Orkney also put on a display of a female hen harrier and short eared owl whilst we were there which was a real treat.

We visited H and M's little flat in Stromness for a cuppa and chat afterwards. Just nice to cosy up with family :-)
