Copinsay

Liz and I just had a peaceful wandering day around Deerness today, which included a picnic lunch sitting on the beach looking at Copinsay. It gave us a sense of deja vu as from this angle it looks very like its cousin, the Brough of Birsay, which is at the opposite end of the island and with which we are very familiar.

The midges have come out tonight - first time this year :-(
