Pride!

It was a Metheringham day today, and all was pretty much OK over there. We watched Question Time of course, and I did a few jobs - typical Wednesday really!

I took this shot of a sign outside the coffee shop I pass on the way to/from the station. It is the only thing I have seen relating to Pride in town. It's not being made a big deal of really. 

It is a good thing as at heart it is a celebration of the hard won freedom for people to live as they choose and love who they choose. Some people may not approve but that's fine, they don't have to join in. Surely more freedom for more people cannot be bad. And having a beautiful, kind, fun transgender daughter like Grace is pretty wonderful too!
