...to drop off some posters for the Fete de Bateaux and Davide produced this for us to try. Happiness in the sun on the terrace opposite the church. A chenin blanc from 2004 that has been in barrel for 7 years on it's lees. Look at the colour! More like a caramelised whiskey with a hint of calvados, deeply honeyed and very rich. How versatile is chenin blanc? Looks like we chose the wrong day to give up drinking! #Loire
