church fate

there are two churches in Hamilton; a slightly grand, rather ornate one, and the little humble one that seems to be on the cusp of crumbling away. The grander one is St Matthews Anglican, with a fancy bell tower, a hall, and a manse. The humble one, an original Methodist, (later Uniting), has an outhouse.
Of Hamilton itself, a minuscule village that seems to probably have more church pews than houses.
