Yellow Flag ( Iris pseudacorus )

Feeling noticeably better so managed to totter out and add shot 15 to my 30 days wild.

I have always liked Irises, both the cultivated varieties and our native "Yellow Flag".   Actually, they are very widely distributed across Europe, western Asia, and North Africa.  Interestingly a survey of nectar producers in the UK had the Yellow Flag as second in the amount of nectar produced in a day.

I like them as well because they remind me of the canals and the enjoyment we get cruising them.
