Public holiday in Bavaria today as well as the German States with majority Catholic population.

On the way back home from the evening dog walk was halted by the village voluntary fire brigade, who as in all such rural villages have police powers to control the traffic. The procession from the church to a memorial was talking place along main road.

So sat back & enjoyed the scene for 5 minutes.
