Surrender

Finally have to tackle our English 'lawns'. As I complain frequently about the golf course mentality of most local farmers who have now already done two rounds of grass silage mowing & thus decimating wild flower diversity, have to leave what we can of our garden to do its bit.

Wildflowers have now seeded and so I was asked to tackle the tall grass with the big tractor to mow and cart away the majority. Angie will then in two days do the fine cut with her ride on mower.

Tomorrow is a public holiday in Bavaria, Corpus Christi, and thus no lawn mowing allowed.
