Gladstone Park Run

A very warm, sunny morning. I walked along to see the runners congregate for the start of the park run. I gave up running (for buses) 6 years ago when I first started with knee problems so I was there solely for the photo opps. I enjoyed the friendly vibe and listening to the run director go through the house-keeping; only one dog on a short lead per runner, be mindful not to run between the blind runners and their guides, next week will be Gladstone’s 10th anniversary, the handing out of a vest for the runner celebrating their 100th park run etc etc.

Thankfully this evening the weather has broken, the temp has dropped to 16C and drizzle has set in.
