St Edmundsbury Cathedral

Not such a fine day, cloudy and much cooler, and a few showers.

It was great to get a right bed again, and slept well in the hotel.  We met up for breakfast, and then headed out for the day.  First stop was at Bressingham steam museum, with a merry-go-round and mini steam trains chugging about the site.  We headed on to Bury St Edmunds, where we met Madeline's nephew, Scott and his wife Tilly and son Fraser. We had a meal in the One Bull, and then a walk in the park.  Back to the hotel tonight, and maybe have a pint or two, since it's Saturday night.

After a good meal, it was good to burn off a few calories with a walk in the park.  Sadly it was cut short due to the rain.  We had been looking around the ruins of the Abbey, and also the lovely flower park.  We even managed to speak with a few local squirrels.  This was part of the flower garden, with St Edmundsbury cathedral in the background, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
