Beech Trees and Shadows

Geordie, Amber and I had a good walk in Hamilton Wood this morning. It was fine when we were sheltered from the wind, but when we got to the west end of the wood the wind was wild, cool and noisy in the trees. I’m so fed up with this constant wind.
Popped to the co-op afterwards for one or two things, then along to Pathhead nursery for a bag of compost, then home for a cuppa.
In the afternoon Suzy brought Hannah along. She’s staying for a sleepover. Geordie is over the moon. We’ve had a great time and I’m happy to say that finally, at 9 o’clock, peace reigns. All three are sound asleep and I’m going to have a cuppa and read for a while.
