A long walk beside the estuary resulted in average pictures but positive for exercise and the feeling of sunshine on my skin.  We said hello to a lot of walkers and bikers.  I think these are Pied Stilts or Poaka in Maori.  The song is a good Australian one from 1998 which seems fitting as the stilts self introduced from Australia in the 1870's
