Definitely an Emergency Blip!

A full day and I'm not sure where it went! 
Woke (again) at 5am to bad dreams and the dreaded restless legs so rose and made some herbal tea and went down to the stitching cave and knitted till 7am when I was starting to nod off so went back to bed and slept till 9.15am !! A few minutes doing wordle , then...
Quickly rose and started the day with home made muesli and stewed apple before making a batch of pikelets....headed outside and removed all the old collection of garden pots from the potting bench that Dr D had made me a few years ago. It sits near the back door and needed a birthday so I assigned about 10 largish pots to give to one of our daughters-in-law , washed the whole collection and the potting bench and repositioned that against the house. Then repacked the pots that I'm keeping before filling the knapsack sprayer with weed killer and putting out 10 litres of spray here and there in and around the garden.Then 20 minutes hosing down the deck off our bedroom to clear the autumn leaves.
An early shower and late lunch before heading down to the stitching cave for another couple of hours stitching hexagons together.
An easy Sunday night's tea of mushroom soup and homemade garlic bread  followed by a wee dish of lemon jelly made from our own lemons. A very pleasant palate cleanser. That's enough for one day I think ; ))
