Elderflower And Apples

.......... I seem to have ‘acquired’ and Elderflower tree in the corner of the garden behind the apple tree and it has pushed it’s way through trying to get to the light - I didn’t even know it was there until I saw the flowers but it can stay put as it’s obviously doing quite well in that dark corner and the flowers do look rather pretty ;-)

Spent the day pottering around in the garden and trying to tame an unruly ivy that’s trying to escape into next door’s garden and persuade an awkward honeysuckle that it really would have a more secure future if it grew up and around an old tree that has seen better days but has still not quite had it yet ;-))
