Opie’s blanket

Finished this today and wrapped it up ready for Mr I to post in the morning. Tried to show all of it here. The top fleece is so wonderfully soft. I added her name because it’s so unusual they’ll never find anything else with it on. Added 4 lemon and blue flowers too. The backing is cotton with hundreds of little colourful birds all over it. It’s cot sized so should last a while. I noticed Nelly eyeing it up :-)
We went to the Kirby Muxloe school fete last Saturday and this morning I got a phone call saying they had 2 raffle prizes for me - TWO.! I never win anything usually. Told Mr I to buy a lottery ticket in case we’re on a winning streak.
