lilies

These gorgeous lilies, I think they’re Martagon lilies, have just started flowering. The flowers look like they’re made of wax and they’re enjoying their partly shady corner in the garden. Holly gave them to me last year but we didn’t get any flowers as they were ravaged by red lily beetles.
Mr I picked up my 2 raffle prizes this morning. The first - a bottle of Cabana Bloom perfume and some other smellies (very nice), and the second one is an outdoor activity for 2 people at Leicester Outdoor Pursuits. As neither of us fancy canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, beam balancing or paddle boating we have given it to Victor, who I’m sure will love it :-)
So nice to win something though.
