Wastwater

We took a break from the walking group today so I could rest my injured ankle. I have always wanted to visit Wasdale and today we finally made it. It is a beautiful place and not too crowded at the southern end but we walked/drove up to Wasdale Head at the northern end where there were more cars and people.  It was lovely relaxing day out though and well worth the journey.  I want to return when the weather conditions are more favourable (sunrise, sunset or when there is snow on the mountain tops! )
