Sea and sky

Went over to Tentsmuir this morning and walked almost to the point. There were skylarks and seals singing (though not easily seen) and the fragrance of pine trees in the warm air. The main route we took back has now been cleared of the Arwen-felled trees but in one section we had to find an alternative to our usual way.
Back home for lunch and then some shopping for a barbecue at our son's, we took the food and drink and daughter brought more drinks while 1 of her son's brought homemade cake (done entirely by himself which I reckon isn't bad for a 13yr old.
Great time at the barbecue, and there wasn't much food left.
The visitors move north tomorrow.
