Busy bee

Today has been a day of tidying loose ends up and getting ready for my travels tomorrow.

The absolute highlight of my day was seeing a hummingbird moth on my lunchtime walk - I've never seen one in 'real life' before and have wanted to for so long, since first ever hearing that they exist.

There are no prizes for guessing how it got its name, its just like a hummingbird in the way it hovers, darts about and sips nectar. I managed to capture it on video but you'll have to go to my Pentland Aromatics Facebook or insta to see it. Think there's a link in my bio.
