Star of the show. You ain’t heard a racing car til you’ve heard an F1 car.
And when Jackie Stewart wants one he gets one so he phoned Christian Horner and asked. So here we have the Mark Webber car from 2018 driven by Patrick Friesacher who’s now one of the test drivers. Whisked it up and down the driveway of Thirlestane Castle with a few cheeky doughnuts at the. bottom much to the crowds delight.
However the real gems were under the tents with a grand display of Jackie’s cars over his career driven and shipped in from all over including his Marcos . The current owner, Matteo Panini (as in the stickers) drove it all the way from Modena, 23 hours just cos my dad said pretty please.
So a busy day with all the family hobnobbing and making the best use of our VIP passes and the free hospitality. Great fun in the sun
Unfortunately it didn’t extend to the dinner in the castle where my dad was sat with Sophie Wessex whilst we ate our nachos at Porty!
