Bit of work and gardening in the morning. Lunchtime we hired a car and drove up to London for TSM’s pre-op appointment at the hospital where she’s having surgery next week. Easy journey thankfully. Been a while since I’ve driven in London but the car was an automatic and there are lots of 20mph zones which suits my slow driving style.

Got the pond pump working in the evening. Then suddenly felt really tired …
