Redcap

There are quite a few young Woodpecker photos on blip at the moment . . . and here is one more. I had to post it as it is the first time we have seen a young redcap at the feeder alone. I am not sure whether this is the same one as the one I saw a few days ago - could be as they become independent very quickly. But then we have no idea how many Woodpeckers visit our garden, there are many of them in the Ghyll. Maybe we are seeing the same one over and over again, or maybe there are several . . . who knows!
