Centranthus ruber

I would love to get this plant growing in my "Chudleigh Wild" bit of garden as I once spotted a  Hummingbird Hawk-Moth feeding on this plant growing out of a crevice in an old stone wall. Amazing! With that in mind I noticed the plants growing outside the doctor's surgery in Chudleigh going to seed so took the opportunity of harvesting some today. Very pretty they are too. I shall just scatter the seed in amongst everything else that is "going on". If it sets great, if not, back to the drawing board.

I feel like someone is trying to mess with my mind .................... I hope I'm wrong. Phew!
