Ugly duckling

It doesn't look like these buds will turn into beautiful poppies but I trust they will!

More sweet peas came out today and they're definitely not white. But hey! In other garden news, the irises are finished but the borage flowers are just starting to open, and the roses are now going strong.

Oh, and it's Midsummer! How did that happen?
