Alien

I can't get a decent natural photo of the nasturtium flower as it's such a deeply saturated orange that my phone camera just records it as a single blob. Desaturated, retinted, and with everything else adjusted, you can finally see the alien weirdness of its centre!

Work went smoothly, I didn't get caught in a heavy downpour (again), and then I've had a quiet evening as H and D were out. Plenty to be thankful for there.

In the garden, the irises are well and truly over, the thyme is flowering, the thistles are getting bluer, the blueberries are getting rounder, and everything is growing like mad now we've finally had lots of rain.
