I Hope This Breaks Soon

It simply doesn't get this hot here.

And I'm a little confused by those delicious clouds on the display. Maybe the gadget just lost it's little mind, because it sure isn't gonna rain here. We may have set a record. I have seen it hit 100 once in awhile, but never did it go over. Note at 6 pm it's still 99 degrees; it'll be a long night.

Mostly we just sat around and panted. I did a little gardening early on, before the construction noises and the heat, but the poor marigolds I put in got a little wilty as the day went on. Not unlike some people. We did do something unheard of: watched a movie on tv in the afternoon. I think that may have set a record here as well. The Velvet Queen, thanks to Kendall.
