Nature's symmetry

I like looking at a thing and getting in close, seeing what such observation reveals. Nature is a good place to start but not necessarily to end. I always like to add a bit to the view. In this case I've got the blue and pink effect from two different (artificial) light sources.

I don't necessarily want to leave the observer wondering what I've photographed. Rather, I like presenting a different view.

This is a feather from a guinea fowl found at the Hanging Tree Vineyard on our recent vacation. They keep the guinea fowl to deter snakes. I was beguiled by the feather's near symmetrical white spots, which don't translate to the appearance of the bird, pretty as it is.

I also like doing DCM.

Thanks for hosting Ingeborg.
