Cinnabar

The air was full of butterflies, moths and other flying beasties.
A painted lady landed on my bare arm. Meadow browns fought over the ladies along the verges. Admirals softly criss-crossed my path, Skippers skipped over the hedge and Torties wafterd over the barley.

Few landed and when they did they were hunched up in the dark.

This is the first Cinnabar I've seen this year.
