Grizedale Pike

It was my turn to lead a walk for our walking group today. It was a very hot day (for the Lake District) and I was concerned as there was a great deal of hard climbing. I call it the 6 Hills Walk, of which 5 are Wainrights, following a variation of the Coledale Round where we did Barrow, Stile End, Outerside, Scar Crags, Sail and Crag Hill then following path to Coledale Hause and down the path past Force Crag Mine and back to our start point in Braithwaite. All 11 of us made it round with out any problems but it was hot! .......and we all enjoyed it which was the main thing.
This image was shot from half way up Barrow, the first climb.

Now for a beer or two!
