Gap

The town in France , not the clothes store. 
We are staying just outside Gap. The route over here through La Mure was very high, it clouded over and  a storm came and the temperature plummeted to15 C. Felt perishing after what we’ve been experiencing. 
We cycled down to the City centre, and although not the most beautiful French city I’ve ever seen it was lively with a big square full of tables and a bit of a buzz to the place. There are  a few interesting little side streets. I liked the one in the photo,  because faded blue shutters and pale pink walls are an irresistible combination for me. 
Not sure where we’re going tomorrow as our SIL has recommended a couple of places but that’s probably because the climbing is good or there’s some massive Tour de France bike ride you can do over a vertical Col. We shall have to do a bit of research this evening!
